Terms and Conditions of Use – Megacce Store

Purpose

Megacce Store is an online buying and selling platform created by the company MEGACC (Mega Customer Center), headquartered in the town of Bujumbura, Burundi. 
This platform allows vendors to register, manage their online stock, and receive customer orders for their products. Activities unrelated to commerce are not allowed on this platform.

These “Terms and Conditions of Use” define the rules for using and accessing the Megacce Store platform to ensure smooth collaboration between the platform managers and its users.

Platform Users

MEGACC is the primary user of Megacce Store, posting its own products for online sale.

In addition to MEGACC, there are two other categories of users:
- Buyers or product seekers (Clients or visitors)
- Product vendors

a. Buyers or Product Seekers

A buyer is any person seeking information about a product to meet their needs. 
Creating an account is only required when the person wishes to make a purchase through the platform. In that case, the individual is registered as a permanent user of Megacce Store.

b. Product Vendors

MEGACC offers any individual or legal entity wishing to find clients online a sales space to showcase their products and receive orders easily. 
The vendor must have a vendor account on the platform before engaging in any sales activity. Once the products are listed, customers can contact the vendor directly for additional clarifications beyond what is shown in the online shop. 
Customers may purchase and pay for products directly through the platform.

Buying and Selling on Megacce Store

As mentioned above, MEGACC provides an online sales space for partner vendors (those with vendor accounts on the platform). 
Each vendor can create a personalized online store to sell their products.

Products are organized into various categories and sold in stores that are clearly identifiable by customers. 
For downloadable products, such as digital files, the vendor must provide complete identifying information (full address as required by MEGACC). 
Customers may leave reviews or comments on products so that other visitors can assess the quality or potential shortcomings of the items listed by vendors.

Selling on Megacce Store

A vendor listing products on Megacce Store has the right to receive online payments for customer orders. However, the amount paid by the customer is not transferred directly to the vendor. 
The vendor can withdraw their funds at any time after successfully delivering the product to the customer in compliance with the product’s online description.

The platform manager may establish a partnership agreement with the vendor through a signed contract, but this is not mandatory. 
By registering on Megacce Store and posting their products, vendors are deemed to have accepted the site’s Terms and Conditions of Use.

Vendors must:
- Ensure the quality of their products to maintain trust with clients and platform administrators.
- Provide clarifications when customers ask questions about their products.
- Facilitate product delivery in accordance with the platform’s service policies.

Buying on Megacce Store

Customers are free to purchase any product online on Megacce Store. Purchases may occur for several reasons:
- The product is available only for online payment, as set by the vendor.
- The product or service is in limited supply and the customer wishes to reserve it by paying online in advance.
- The product is a downloadable item (e.g., eBooks, videos) sold on Megacce Store.
- The vendor offers home delivery, and the customer wants to save time by purchasing online.

Megacce Store uses automated payment systems. For every payment made, three parties are notified by email: the platform administrator, the vendor, and the customer.

For online purchases, the vendor is responsible for pricing management. MEGACC reserves the right to manage delivery times and appropriate delivery locations. 
If a customer does not receive a product or service as described on the platform, they may contact the platform administrator for a refund.

Refund Policy

Each vendor on Megacce Store is responsible for handling returns, exchanges, and refunds for their own products. 
However, our customer service may intervene in unresolved disputes or in cases of non-compliance with the stated policy.

Refund Request Period

Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of receiving the product. 
After this period, the request may be refused unless the product is defective or non-compliant.

How to Request a Refund

1. Log in to your account and go to “My Orders.”
2. Select the relevant order and click “Request a Refund.”
3. State your reason and, if possible, attach photos as evidence.
4. The vendor has 24 hours to respond.

General Eligibility Conditions

A product may be refunded if it meets the following criteria:
- Returned in its original condition (unused, unwashed, undamaged)
- Includes original packaging and proof of purchase
- Does not belong to the list of non-refundable products below

Non-Refundable Products

Unless otherwise stated by the vendor, the following items are generally non-refundable:
- Digital or downloadable products
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Discounted or clearance items
- Food or perishable goods

Return Fees

- If the product is defective or non-compliant, return shipping costs are borne by the vendor.
- If the return is due to a change of mind, return shipping costs may be borne by the buyer, depending on the vendor’s terms.

Disputes and Mediation

In case of disagreement between the buyer and vendor, our support team may intervene. 
We will review communications, submitted evidence, and may decide on a partial refund, full refund, or rejection of the claim.

Refund Processing Time

Once the return is accepted and the product received by the vendor, the refund will be processed within 3 to 7 business days, depending on the payment method used.
